General
- Available as hosted solution (SAAS) or customer's own servers.
- Multilingual out of the box with english and german delivered. Can be easily translated into other languages.

Platform

Feedback features
- Different feedback types: question, idea, problem and praise.
- When a user starts to create a new feedback, ServiceCommunicator displays already related feedback to prevent duplicate entries.
- Users can create comments to a feedback, and comments to a comment.
- Feedback and comments can have attachments.
- Users can express their mood for every feedback and comment.
- Automatic display of other related content (feedback, solutions).
- Users can follow a feedback to get notified when someone else creates a new comment.
- The author or a moderator can mark a feedback as 'completed', so that no more comments can be created.
- Most recent feedback is displayed on the homepage and in areas, filtered by a product or category.
- Feedback view with different search options.
Solution database features
- Solutions can be created directly in ServiceCommunicator, or can be pushed into ServiceCommunicator by an external Helpdesk system (via webservice).
- User can search for a solution directly from the homepage, or from the solution view.
- Related solutions are automatically display while user enters a search query.
- Most recent solutions is displayed on the homepage and in areas, filtered by a product or category.
- Solution view can be filtered by various criterias.
- Automatic display of other related solutions and feedback for a solution.
- Users can create comments to a feedback, and comments to a comment.

Troubleticket features
- Customer can push ticket information from internal helpdesk software to ServiceCommunicator (via webservice).
- Authenticated users can view their own tickets in ServiceCommunicator.

- Users can create comments to a feedback, and comments to a comment.
- Feedback and comments can have attachments.

News and FAQ features
- News and FAQs can be created for all categories, or for a specific category.
- News and FAQs can be created in different languages.

- Selected news can be highlighted, so that they are displayed in a more eye-catching way.
Custom content features (downloads, product information, documentation...)
- Customer can create various types of custom content for a specific product or category.
- Custom content can be displayed on homepage and in the sidebar in the solution, ticket or feedback area.
- Custom content can contain RichText including images and links.
- Custom content can contain attachements for downloading.
Multilingual features
- User interfaces detects user's browser language automatically and displays the elements in the proper language.
- Elements like dates and time values are displayed in the proper, language dependant format.
- User generated content like feedback or solutions can be translated to other languages automatically.
- News, FAQs and custom content can be created for each language seperately.
- English and german language delivered out of the box. Other languages can be added.
