I just arrived at the Maritim Hotel Gelsenkirchen for Entwicklercamp 2008. The hotel looks something like this:



a 70's style building, but it seems to be a quite nice hotel. My room looks good and is well equipped. I travelled together with Stephan Holowaty by train from Hamburg... the air con in our compartment was broken and it was a little bit cold, but despite that the journey was uneventful. In fact, the train even arrived in time, which is not granted for the german Bahn :-)

Tomorrow the Entwicklercamp 2008 will start and I'm here for the first time. There are lots of interesting speakers like Niklas Heidloff, Stephan Holowaty, Andrejus Chaliapinas, Ben Langhinichs and many other. I hope I can learn some new stuff and meet interesting people.

The event ends on wednesday. Until then I will try to blog about what I see, hear and learn :-)
